Toggle Switches

Marine Toggle Switches

A boat may have plenty of switches responsible for activating or deactivating various systems, and choosing a proper switch is essential for reliable operation, convenience, and safety. Most switches can be divided into three basic groups including push button, rocker, and toggle models. The second and third categories have more in common, and some boaters even consider replacing toggle switches with their rocker counterparts, for a more modern look, illuminated indicator, or for other reasons. However, toggle switches also have their pros.

For instance, there is a smaller chance to push and turn them on accidentally thus activating something without even noticing, as toggles typically require a bit higher effort to turn and make a louder click sound. Besides, many metal toggles are stronger, more reliable, yet less expensive than rockers, while their mounting inside the dash can be more preferable, depending on the panel's construction. On our digital shelves, you will find a large assortment of two- and three-position toggle switches designed for different currents and available in various types (SPDT, DPDT, etc.) Our assortment includes both regular and heavy-duty models, and many of them feature built-in illumination for better visibility at night.
