Product Details

Shieldsflex ll 4" Black Rubber Water/Exhaust Hose with Wire by Shields Hose®. Shieldsflex II Marine Water/Exhaust Hose has a black synthetic rubber tube and cover. It is reinforced with wire helix imbedded between plies of HD synthetic cord. It is resistant to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze and saltwater. This hose is abrasion and odor permeation resistant. It now has double the ozone resistance required by the SAEJ2006. Shieldsflex II is primarily used for engine intake, wet exhaust connections (use where bends or long lengths are required), bilge pump intake/discharge, scupper lines, toilet intake/discharge, and holiding tank vent/pump out. The temperature ranges from -20°F to 200°F continuous, 250°F intermittent. The hose meets SAE J2006 Type R2 standards.

Shields warrants its products to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the useful life of the product.

If a Shields product fails to comply with the Warranty, Shields will repair or replace the defective product.

Shields does not warrant against, and the Warranty shall be void with respect to, damages or defects arising out of any of the following:

Improper or abnormal use or handling of Shields` products
Installation or use of a Shields product in a manner that is inconsistent with Shields’s application information, guidelines, instructions
Defects in products or components not manufactured by Shields
Non-Shields made products or components
Shields products transferred from a vessel on which they were originally installed
Shields products transferred from the engine on which they were originally installed
Failure to maintain Shields products in accordance with Shields’s application information, guidelines, instructions
Ordinary wear and tear resulting from the operation and/or use of the Shields product
