Product Details

Shieldsaust Rubber Corrugated Exhaust Hose by Shields Hose®. Shieldsaust – C Hose has a black synthetic rubber tube and cover. It is reinforced with double wire helix imbedded between plies of synthetic cord and is abrasion resistant. It is resistant to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze, and saltwater. This hose is primarily used for wet exhaust connections with significant bends, engine intake and scupper lines. The temperature ranges from -20°F to 200°F continuous, 250°F intermittent. The hose now has double the ozone resistance required by SAEJ2006. This hose meets SAE J2006 Type R2 standards.

Shields warrants its products to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the useful life of the product.

If a Shields product fails to comply with the Warranty, Shields will repair or replace the defective product.

Shields does not warrant against, and the Warranty shall be void with respect to, damages or defects arising out of any of the following:

Improper or abnormal use or handling of Shields` products
Installation or use of a Shields product in a manner that is inconsistent with Shields’s application information, guidelines, instructions
Defects in products or components not manufactured by Shields
Non-Shields made products or components
Shields products transferred from a vessel on which they were originally installed
Shields products transferred from the engine on which they were originally installed
Failure to maintain Shields products in accordance with Shields’s application information, guidelines, instructions
Ordinary wear and tear resulting from the operation and/or use of the Shields product
