Most modern vessels have lots of electric and electronic devices which aim to make a water trip safe and enjoyable. All of them require power to operate. This is why boats are equipped with two and more batteries that power different systems. A specially designed isolator is essential in such a setup in order to separate those batteries from each other and therefore make sure that the electrical system of a boat won’t pull power from all of them at the same time.
