Whale pumps are well-known on the marine market. There are bilge, waste, washdown, baitwell, and freshwater galley pumps, both manual and electric. Particularly, the Whale Watermaster automatic pressure pump provides a smooth, consistent flow of freshwater at 2, 3, or 4 outlets. Depending on the model, it’s powered by DC 12 or 24V and produces up to 2 or 3 bars. The Gulper® toilet pump uses innovative Whale Gulper valve technology that prevents it from clogging, yet there are no filters to clean out – just install and forget.
The same technology is also utilized in the Gulper line of electric bilge pumps. As for Whale water heaters, there are many models suitable for the harsh marine environment. Purely electric or working as heat exchangers, these products are available in different volumes starting with 3 and ending with 28 US gallons. Three material options are available, which include the covers made of marine galvanized steel, stainless steel, and white epoxy-coated aluminum. All of them offer good corrosion resistance. Also, heaters are equipped with an internal anode and the necessary safety controls such as an integrated pressure relief valve and a temperature and pressure drain tube.
