Limited Warranty Information - Applicable to All Products
Taylor Made products shall not be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for any damages or remedies not specifically set forth in this warranty. Taylor Made products shall not be liable, in the event, for any damages in excess of the cost of the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall not be extended beyond the duration of the express warranties herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This written warranty is the only warranty expressed or implied, made by Taylor Made Products. No person is authorized to change, add to, or create any warranty or obligation other than set forth herein. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
Boat Covers and Bimini BoaTops Limited Warranty
Taylor Made Products warrants its Trailerite® boat covers and Bimini BoaTops® to be free of defects in material and workmanship. The different types of products, and their warranty periods, are specified below:
- Boat Guard Rainbreaker Covers: 1-year limited warranty
- Propeller Covers: 1-year limited warranty
- Boat Guard Covers: 2-year limited warranty
- Boat Guard Eclipse Covers: 5-year limited warranty
- Boat Guard SST Covers: 2-year limited warranty
- Trailerite® Boat Covers: 2-year limited warranty
- Trailerite® Hot ShotTM Boat Covers: 5-year limited warranty
- Bimini BoaTops®: 2-year limited warranty
This limited warranty pertains to defects in material and workmanship only. Damage caused by improper use or care is not covered by this warranty. Examples of damage that is not covered are:
- Allowing water, snow, or ice to pool or puddle on the product
- Tears or rips caused by failure to protect the product from sharp objects
- Wind damage due to improperly tying down of the product
- Fabric discoloration or failure due to chemical exposure (includes tree sap, bird droppings, oil, and gas)
- Mildew caused by dirt resting on the product, or the product being stored while damp
- Damage caused by acts of God
This warranty is in lieu of all warranties, express or implied, and under no circumstances shall Taylor Made Products be liable for any damages in excess of the boat cover’s original purchase price.
Taylor Made Vinyl Fender & Vinyl Buoy Limited Warranty
"Lifetime" Limited Warranty applies to: Super Gard™, Hull Gard®, Big BTM and Survivor® fenders only. One Year Limited Warranty applies to: Tuff End™ Fenders and Buoys, Fender Cushions™, Low Freeboard Fenders, PWC Fenders, and Transom Fenders.
All warranted replacements must meet this simple criteria: The fender has split or burst from normal use and damage is not the result of a knife cut or puncture from a sharp object.
Taylor Made Products warrants its vinyl fenders to be free of defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for which the product is intended. This warranty is limited to product failure as a result of air loss from Splittig or Bursting. Excluded from this warranty are fenders that have become useless from cuts or punctures, or disfigured from continued wear or use, or products that have been exposed to solvents that degrade vinyl. Over-inflation of any fender voids any warranty claim. Obligation under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement or credit of the defective fender at Taylor Made's discretion. Taylor Made Products shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damage or penalties and does not assume liability of purchaser or others for injury to persons or property. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied.
Foam Filled Mooring Buoy Limited Warranty: Flotation for 3 Years
This product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. The float of the buoy is warranted for three years from the date of sale: that it will maintain its flotation when used for its intended purpose under exposure to normal sun, wind, weather, and water conditions. It is NOT warranted against acts of vandalism. It is NOT warranted against attack by animals, birds, fish, or people. The hardware of the buoy is warranted for one year from the date of sale: that it will maintain its structural integrity when used for its intended purpose, under normal exposure to weather and water conditions. It is not implied that this product will withstand unusual conditions such as severe storms, severe tides, or hurricanes. The user should check the mooring every three months to be sure that it is secure and has not deteriorated to a level where it may fail under stress.
A copy of the original sales receipt, documenting the date of purchase, must accompany all warranty claims. Obligation under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or credit for the defective buoy at Taylor Made's discretion. Taylor Made Products shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damage or penalties and does not assume liability of purchaser or others for injury to persons or property. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied.
