2.8' L x 4.5' T x 1" H Acoustical Absorption Foam (IAF10MNSFT12) by Soundown®. Acoustic foam, mylar faced (no barrier). Soundown Acoustic Absorption Materials are used in applications where barrier treatments are not required. These treatments are manufactured from a wide range of base materials such as polyether foam, acoustic fiberglass, coast guard approved fiberglass, polyimide foam, and mineral wool. Soundown Acoustic Head and Hull liners also provide good absorption performance in occupied spaces.

Soundown offers the highest quality acoustical foam product available today. Soundown acoustical absorptive foam materials are available with a multitude of facings such as Mylar, Urethane, and Vinyl. Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives (PSA) is also available as an adhesive backing eliminating the use of the strong odor spray adhesives. Soundownís acoustic foam is a polyether formulation that will outlast inferior polyester foams available on the market today. This polyether foam provides the highest level of hydrolytic stability in the harsh marine environment, as the dampness found in the marine environment will promote polyester foam disintegration drastically reducing the life of the foam.
