Rubex HR4 Series 14-1/4"D x 17"P RH Rotation 4-Blade Stainless Steel Thru Hub Exhaust Propeller for 30 hp Johnson/Evinrude (9553-143-17) by SOLAS Propellers®. Solas Rubex HR4 stainless-steel propeller offers excellent fuel-efficiency and is the perfect choice for great hole shot when pulling a skier or carrying loads The Solas Rubex HR4 is the stainless steel version of the Rubex 4 aluminum prop, which is SOLAS best seller. Based on the configuration of the Rubex propeller, the appropriate hub kit will be suggested as an add-on accessory.

A wide blade design with added cupping, this quality propeller offers ease of maneuverability and great mid-range performance. The HR4's high rake design will also keep the bow high. The Solas Rubex HR4 is an interchangeable hub propeller and is compatible with the Flo-Torq II™ and XHS II™ hub systems, as well as Solas own RBX™ hub system.

Solas propellers are balanced and precision made with superior materials for stronger and thinner blades that are smooth, fast, efficient and tough. This propeller features the industry-leading 24-10 stainless steel and is made by an investment casting process - resulting in a boat propeller that is more rigid, highly rust resistant and less brittle. Perfect Prop for My 18 Foot Mirrocraft Dual Impact
This new stainless 4 blade prop allows me to stay on plane at lower speeds has given me an excellent hole shot, very good top end and excellent gas mileage. This Solas prop appears to be very well constructed and matches my boat to give it excellent overall performance. 18 ft Mirrocraft Dual Impact with 150 hp Mercury Opti.

Great Prop
I have gone through several props on my 2020 115 Yamaha trying to find the one that would give me a hole shot, get the boat on plain and hold it and the 4 blade Solas prop does everything I wanted and more. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great Value
Prop solved the purposing issue I had by lifting the stern. I had the factory 3 blade Suzuki prop on my Suzuki DF90 mounted on my 18 Sea Pro. I couldn’t trim the engine out more then 15%. I can now trim 80%. Much better hole shot. Same top speed. I dropped from 17” pitch to 15” pitch. Turning exactly 6300 WOT which matches Suzuki specs.

Impressed with Solas
I have had a stainless steel 3 blade prop for many years. After doing quite a bit of research, I found that a 4 blade prop would be better suited for my needs, so I ordered the Solas HR 4 and installed it.I have to tell you that I cannot believe the difference that it made. I'm extremely pleased with the Solas prop. Very high quality and great performance. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Lexor 15 1/2 x 17 3 Blade SS
Very happy with the quality of propeller. Made well. Wanted more power at mid range throttle and this prop did it for my 250 HP Yamaha.

Great prop, I used other aftermarket props that rusted, but not this one so far, I've been out several times in saltwater and no rust!

3 Blade Switch to 4 Blade Propeller
Asked for assistance to swap from 3 blade to 4 blade and to increase rpm. Well this is what they recommended. Did not increase rpm from old blade in fact reduced rpm and speed. Now only get 5000 rpm and 40 mph. Asked to increase rpm to 5800.Asked Yamaha recommended. 14.5 x 15.

Missing Part.
The prop is very nice looking. Should work. However, it is not as in the image. The spacer shown that the tab washer locks down into is not installed. I had to dig an old one out of my supplies to finish installing the prop.
