LIMITED WARRANTY
Simrad warrants that its products, when properly installed and used, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period stated for the applicable product and/or peripheral device as set out below from the date of first purchase (the Warranty Period).
AIS Systems - 2 years
Autopilot Systems - 2 years
Displays - 2 years
ECDIS/ECS Products - 2 years
Fishfinders - 2 years
Gyro Systems - 2 years
HS60 GPS Compass - 1 year
IMO GPS Products - 1 year
Instruments - 2 years
Radars - 2 years
Safety Devices (EPIRBs, SARTs) - 2 years
VHF Radios - 2 years
Cameras - 2 years For the purpose of this Warranty, ’date of first purchase’ means the date the product was purchased by the first retail customer; or in the case of a product installed on a new vessel by a Certified/Approved Simrad Boat Builder, the date the first retail customer took delivery of the vessel.
Simrad will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace with new or refurbished parts or product, or equivalent product, any proven defective products or components returned to Simrad, or its approved agent during the Warranty Period in accordance with the terms, conditions and limitations as set out in the Simrad Warranty Policy. Such repairs or replacements will be the sole remedy of the customer under this Warranty.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SUPPORT: Customers can obtain warranty support by contacting their local Simrad Certified/Approved Dealer or Distributor
PRODUCT REGISTRATION: Customers are encouraged to register their product purchases online.
ON BOARD SUPPORT: Simrad offers On Board Support for qualifying products in accordance with the terms, conditions and limitations as set out in the Simrad Warranty Policy.
ONLINE AUCTIONS: Authorized dealers do not sell new products directly in online auctions. Purchases made through an online auction are on a "buyer beware" basis. Online auction confirmations or sales receipts are not accepted for warranty verification and missing components from any package purchased through an online auction will not be replaced.
