Established nearly forty years ago and currently headquartered in New York, SI-TEX Marine Electronics is a reliable source for various electronic systems trusted by mariners and watermen all around the world. Having gathered the team of professionals, the company develops and manufactures echosounders, transceivers, autopilots, chartplotters, radars, and other products that can be employed on commercial boats, sportfishing and leisure yachts, cruiser vessels, etc. The goods by SI-TEX feature impressive functionality, strong construction, reliable performance, ease of operation, and other advantages. Yet, they are relatively affordable.
SI-TEX radars are offered in different series such as T-900 and T-2000. The former has power of 2 or 4 kW and boasts of sophisticated Hyper-Digital Processing (HDP) technology meant for improved target discrimination and detection of smaller objects. An optional AIS interface can show you information on up to a hundred targets. All of them are displayed on a color 8.4-inch LCD screen in real time, and a dual range function allows you to split the screen into two zones and see short- and long-range objects simultaneously.
The T-2000 lineup includes more powerful, professional devices (up to 12kW) with a larger color 10.4-inch LCD display and standard AIS interface that can track up to 200 targets. Actually, these series share many functions, and thanks to their water-resistant housing, they can be installed virtually anywhere. The SI-TEX autopilots category includes electronic modules, autopilot pumps, and mechanical drives with a built-in rudder angle sensor. SI-TEX fish finders and other sonars by this brand provide superior functionality and a clear picture. Connecting a fish finder with an optional GPS sensor or using an SI-TEX GPS chartplotter, you can return to your favorite fishing hot spots at any time.
