368 Series Type A2 Fuel Line by Shields Hose®. Shields Low Permeation Marine Fuel Hose has a plastic barrier veneer with an NBR outer layer tube to prevent permeation. This polyester reinforced hose complies with EPA and CARB very low permeation requirements and is weather/UV resistant. This hose is primarily used for fuel feed (gasoline up to 85% ethanol blended fuels/diesel/all bio-diesel blends). It meets USCG Type A1 – 15 requirements for pleasure boats and meets SAE J1527 Type A1-15, ISO 7840 Type A1, and NMMA/CE type accepted standards. The temperature ranges from -20°F to 212°F.

Shields warrants its products to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the useful life of the product.

If a Shields product fails to comply with the Warranty, Shields will repair or replace the defective product.

Shields does not warrant against, and the Warranty shall be void with respect to, damages or defects arising out of any of the following:

Improper or abnormal use or handling of Shields` products
Installation or use of a Shields product in a manner that is inconsistent with Shields’s application information, guidelines, instructions
Defects in products or components not manufactured by Shields
Non-Shields made products or components
Shields products transferred from a vessel on which they were originally installed
Shields products transferred from the engine on which they were originally installed
Failure to maintain Shields products in accordance with Shields’s application information, guidelines, instructions
Ordinary wear and tear resulting from the operation and/or use of the Shields product
