Seachoice® - 19 lb Galvanized Steel Fold-And-Hold Box Anchor

I purchased the box anchor, the first two times I went out the arm that is suppose to hold the box shape would fall apart. I thought it was me at first, but the second time I used it it did the same thing. I reached out to BOATiD and have been waiting for a response and I have not heard back from them. I made my own modification and it now works great.

Design flaw...handle needs to be connected with a completely secured, possibly welded to the square. It held our 32 foot cruiser and our Baja with no problems. I could not brag on it enough. Everyone on Dock C was planning on ordering one ....until the wind took the Baja across the lake because the handle worked loose and my anchor lays on the bottom of the lake. Very sad, LOVED the anchor, true it will hold in anything...very upset when this happened.

Probably the best thing I've ever done for our boat. For five years we struggled with a fluke style anchor, hard to set and would let go for what feels like no reason. Now I toss the box anchor, feed out 22' of line for our favorite 13'-16' deep cove and relax. We have yet to have this anchor fail to hold us, wake boat waves and shifting wind is no issue at all. We use this on a 19' Cobalt 198 bow rider with a lillly pad usually attached to the back. Also very impressed with BOATiD, this was my first purchase with the company and I've recommended them to everyone that I talk boats with. My only regret is not purchasing five years ago!

Cheapest box anchor I could find through a quick google search. We have used it at least 20 times now in 3 different lakes and have been super impressed. Very sturdy and holds our 21ft wake boarding Perfectly. We even tied up to two other boats without anchors and held really well.
