Product Details

25 lb Red Painted Iron Pyramid Anchor by Seachoice®. Pyramid anchors provide excellent holding power and work in tidal waters and rocky or sandy bottoms. They are superior to concrete blocks because the anchor rapidly sets itself by presenting a digging edge to penetrate the bottom. The pyramid shape presents a large surface area which creates high suction that increases the deeper it sets. The short shank allows mooring in shallower waters without chain wrap-up, a characteristic of mushroom anchors.

Great Mooring Anchor Option.

This our second 200lb and we also have a 75lb. Once these set they are excellent. Make sure to give enough length /scope in your mooring chain and rope if you have a tide change. I connected both the 200lbs for our 25ft sailboat and it doesn’t budge in the roughest conditions. Great option for mooring anchor. Fast delivery right to our garage. Comes on a small pallet. Driver even took the pallet for us.

Great Mooring Anchor

This is my second Seachoice pyramid anchor. The first was a 100lb pyramid anchor that has done an excellent job holding our 19ft ski boat in strong winds at times. It seemed a little small at first, but once set that anchor hasn't budged. The 200lb will hold our sailboat and expect the same great performance as the first. I set last months and will let it settle in for at least a couple months before I put some heavy weight on it. Great product, the design is excellent and totally beats using concrete.
