Product Details

200 Series Black Hydrofoil (72424) by SE Sport®. High Performance Hydrofoils streamlined for speed. The SE Sport will improve handling and provide better maneuverability with a smoother ride. Features Turbo Trac to enhance thrust and control. Crescent shaped surface quickly funnels water for more thrust-cutting planing time for the quickest hole shot. Cuts planing time dramatically and keeps the boat on plane at lower speeds while saving on fuel and providing better stability. Features high strength copolymer construction. Stainless steel hardware included. All hydrofoils and the Sport Clip are 100% molded, crafted, and made in USA. Reduces or eliminates porpoising, cavitation, chine walking and deep-V wander.

Installation

SE Sport® - 200/300 Series Installation Instructions

SE Sport 200 Application:

  • 8 to 40 hp (will fit larger HP, except Mercury 40, 50, 60 Four Strokes).
  • Fits most sterndrives and outboards 8 hp to unlimited HP. Exceptions: Volvo with exhaust through the cavitation plate.
  • Mercury Bravo II. Mercury Bravo III with only one anode on bottom of cavitation plate (rare).
  • Honda 200 hp and higher. Yamaha 350 hp.

Se Sport Hydrofoil
I used to have the sting ray classic hydrofoil , which the boat did handle good with it but was slowing the boat down some , so I tried the se sport 300 hydrofoil , handles the same but I picked up 3mph with this hydrofoil . Went from 49 to 52 mph so I definitely recommend this hydrofoil

Great Ride
Hydrofoil was easy to install, works wonderfully. My bass boat took longer than I liked to plane out and would porpoise. With this hydrofoil, I could plane quickly and I felt safer. Glad I installed it and would give high recommendations for it.

The 400 Series Hydrofoil
The SE Sport hydrofoil was easy to install, no holes drilled into the cavitation plate and works as advertised. Put it on a 150 hp Yamaha on a 24 ft pontoon. It reduces the bobbing of the pontoon, controls the pitch of the pontoon better, better performance with less rpm, may have gained a slight increase in speed, looks good and most of all, more steering control. Best price on BOATiD and very happy I installed the hydrofoil. Have used other cav plates before, and by far, this is the best. Overall, a great product!
