8' L x 4' W Gangway Kit by Patriot Docks®. The Patriot Docks Aluminum Gangway Kit is an excellent way to transition from shoreline to pier, especially in fluctuating water. The gangway features all aluminum components with straightforward assembly instructions. The gangway uses 1-1/2"x3-1/2"x1/8" aluminum rectangular tube framing and 1-1/2" i.d. aluminum pipe for handrails. The kit includes the gangway frame, decking, handrails for both sides and a hinge for one end of the gangway.
It includes a floating hinge on one side of the frame. This innovative hinge allows the gangway to move freely as water fluctuates, while providing a secure connection to the shoreline. Aluminum handrails are mounted on each side of the gangway, providing safe access to the pier. Constructed of structural marine-grade aluminum, this unit is strong yet lightweight. Easy to assemble and install.
