Minn Kota 70 # Thrust Trolling Motor
This motor is great motor at a good price. I have it mounted on a 1987 Starcraft bass boat. Motor is quiet without any vibration and was delivered in two days. Great company to do business with.

Hands Down Best Trolling Motor
Pricey - but you get what you pay for. Make SURE you get a circuit breaker for overheating though. Long periods on high or going through thick weeds WILL burn it up. Should be provided with each motor. Only reason for 2 stars.

Plenty of Power
Plenty of power for my 12 ft wooden (heavy) Jon Boat. Plastic prop gets dinged up easily but I expect this is the case for all trolling motors with plastic props.

Nice Unit
I have always enjoyed Minn Kota products. I had a similar 55 Lb thrust unit for about 18 years and when it finally failed, I wanted another one. This newer model is a little slimmer and easy to handle. The biggest complaint I have is the button on the boot control is much smaller and placed a little more left of the older model. With the new unit also much quieter, the button placement makes it hard to know you are actually pressing the button. Other than the small button and placement, the unit is great for a 17 foot aluminum boat like mine.

Very Well Built
I love this edge, it is such a good trolling motor, only problem is how tough the pullstring is to unlock the trolling motor and it's a battery drainer, but I do love it.
