Stor-N-Start 1 pt Diesel Fuel Additive & Stabilizer (MDR561) by MDR®. Pour stor-n-start stabilizers in your fuel tank this fall for instant starts next spring. Draining fuel tanks for winter storage is not recommended because partially full tanks will condense more water and corrode internally. Also, an empty tank is more dangerous due to explosive fumes remaining in the tank. U.S. coast guard recommends. The U.S. Coast Guard, in its bulletin on winterizing recreational boats recommends, installed tanks should be filled with fuel and have a fuel stabilizer added.
