Beware Untold Installation Complexity
When I received the device, I found that I had to add 5 wires to the device, and make 8 connections to the windlass/ft pedals. No wire, connectors included. Only instruction was a wiring diagram, that I found had errors on it. All told, I've spent ~25 hrs on this project, $50 in wire, junction box, connectors, silicone, etc. 2 trips to the boat and not yet installed. Tomorrow is my final effort to make this work. By the way, 5 wires have to be connected to the device, but the grommet supplied was only wide enough for 3. Don't know if I would take this on again.
