AS888 Automatic Float Switch by Johnson Pump®. The AS888 automatic switch has a time-proven micro switch without mercury. When water exceeds the acceptable level, the pump is turned on by a rolling steel ball, which changes the pressure on the micro switch. For full automatic bilge pumping operation, connect the automatic switch to your bilge pump. The AS888 attaches to any SPX FLOW Johnson Pump bilge pump through the clip on "T-slot".

Not The Best
I've used these for the last dozen or so years in my flats boat. They are very easy to install and replace but the problem is they need replacing every other year or so. That's OK by me but I replaced one less than 2 months ago and the new one is hanging up and won't release once the water is pumped out and unfortunately this runs my brand new battery down. I'll buy another one but if the same problem persists it would be my last.
