I have it on a 20 horse Johnson. The unit works very well for what it is designed for, I can keep the motor at higher RPMs so it won't "load up" and still troll at a slower speed. However, it is a little difficult to lower and raise the unit without tilting the motor out of the water and doing it by hand. I do like the "third" notch that now comes from the factory, that's a good feature.
