Product Details

HemiLight™3 Safety Light by ACR®. The choice of cruise lines worldwide, the ACR Auto HemiLight™3 flashing survival light attaches to almost any style life jacket to safely meet USCG, MED and SOLAS requirements. Smaller than other approved lights, the HemiLight™3 features rounded edges to maintain the integrity of inflatable life jackets. Attachment loops accommodate up to 5 cm (2 in) wide webbing, and the marine tough design ensures years of useful service.

The high-intensity flashing LED light automatically activates for 20+ hours when it comes in contact with salt or fresh water, and can be deactivated simply by pushing the red button. Installation is quick and easy (the HemiLight™ 3 can be retrofitted to almost any style life jacket in a matter of seconds).

Available in two configurations: the HemiLight™3 offers a basic strobe mode which can be activated either manually or automatically.

Better than Nothing
"Meets coast guard minimums" that's for sure. Just purchased a Firefly Pro. I do not understand the weakness of the light. I want a strobe that will run for an hour that can be seen from OUTERSPACE. EVERYONE carries a PLB nowadays, so within an hour I will have a helicopter overhead. We don't need 56 hours of weak light, we need an hour of a strobe so bright that anyone looking anywhere near our location will see it even with hungover blurred vision. Get going ACR.

Practical and Affordable Light
I like this emergency light. It is bright. Compact design. Plus, it is waterproof. The manufacturer promises the LED will work for 120 hours. Rather good. I also love that this light is versatile in use – I can attach it to my clothing, bag or belt as it has special straps and a clip.
