From the chemical point of view, water is considered a universal solvent capable of dissolving a great variety of solid substances. That’s why effective corrosion protection and watertightness of all crucial mechanisms are so important in marine products, and Schmitt & Ongaro has a large experience in this area. Both waterproof and non-waterproof wiper motors by the brand are expertly crafted using 304 or 316 stainless steel for shafts, plates, and some other critical parts, while the covers of most models are made of powdered aluminum.
There are standard and heavy-duty wiper motors, and all of them comply with high quality standards, along with wiper arms and blades.
