RAVE offers the following warranty programs within the product line: Limited 3-Year Warranty, Limited Lifetime Warranty, Limited 1-Year Warranty, Limited 90-Day Warranty and Limited 30-Day Warranty.
Limited 3-Year Warranty
RAVE Sports’ product(s), when delivered to you in a new condition in original container, are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for a period of three years from the date of original purchase when used in a non-commercial application. Product(s) used in a commercial application are warranted against defects or workmanship for a period of six months from the date of original purchase.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
All Reinforced PVC products have a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer’s defects in material or workmanship, so long as the product remains in the possession of the original owner. The Limited Lifetime for Reinforced PVC Products is up to seven years; this may vary depending on use and other conditions. What is covered are the defects in the material or workmanship caused by the manufacturer. Any warranty repairs or replacements during the warranty period will be fully covered during the first two years of ownership and partially covered for the remaining five years.
Limited 1-Year Warranty
All PVC vinyl products are are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase when used in a non-commercial application. Product(s) used in a commercial application are warranted against defects or workmanship for a period of six months from the date of original purchase.
Some products may be covered under a Limited 90-Day Warranty and Limited 30-Day Warranty against manufacturer’s defects. The Limited 90-Day Warranty / Limited 30-Day Warranty does not cover any holes, scrapes, tearing or external damage.
The warranty period for any replacement product shall begin upon shipment of the same, but shall in no event exceed the warranty period of the defective product. Defective product(s) returned to RAVE Sports or an authorized service location and proven to be defective upon inspection, will be repaired or exchanged for new product(s) or part(s).
These Warranties cover all defects encountered in normal use of the product and do not apply in the following cases:
- Loss or damage due to abuse, mishandling, alteration, accident
- Failure to follow operating, maintenance, or storage instructions
- Service by a party other than RAVE Sports’ authorized service personnel
- Any acts of God including storm and animal damage
- The product has had its serial number(s) or dating altered or removed
- Normal wear and tear which includes sun damage and other normal weathering of the product.
SUP Stand Up Paddle Boards
All “SUP” stand up paddle boards are covered by a Limited One-Year Warranty against manufacturer’s defects from the date of purchase. This warranty covers only RAVE Sports SUP that are purchased from an authorized RAVE dealer. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred. The warranty covers defects in the material or workmanship caused by the manufacturer. This warranty does not cover any damage that may be a result of normal wear and tear, misuse of the product, modification or alteration to the original design, accidents, heat, excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling, storage, abuse, use in a commercial, rental or teaching environments. Cosmetic flaws that do not affect the functionality and performance of the board are not applicable.
Products Not Covered Under Warranty
The following products are not covered under a RAVE Sports warranty: ropes, life jackets, inflators / deflators.
No implied warranty (or condition), including any implied warranty (or condition) of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, applies to the product after the applicable period of express warranties stated above, and no other express warranty or guaranty, except as mentioned above, given by any person, firm, or corporation with respect to the product shall bind RAVE Sports. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
RAVE Sports shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages caused by the use, misuse or inability to use the product regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, and even if RAVE Sports has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Without limiting the foregoing, you assume all risk and liability for loss, damage or injury to you and your property and to others and their property arising out of the use, misuse, or inability to use any product by RAVE Sports not caused directly by the negligence of RAVE Sports. Some states or provinces do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. These Limited Warranties shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser of any product, or the person for whom it was purchased as a gift.
These Warranties give you specific legal rights. To the extent that such rights cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, these Limited Warranties does not affect such rights.
