I finally had enough of trying to hold my fishing rod in one hand and trying to hold the Cannon® Downrigger Swivel Base Release Pin out the other hand while trying to swing the Downrigger. It might be that I am the only one in the world that is frustrated by the fact that the Cannon® Downrigger Swivel Base Release Pin has to be held out in order to swing the Downrigger out or in. If by chance it bothers you too, you are in luck. We designed this handy knob from Billet Aluminum to replace the Plastic Cannon® T-Handle on the Release Pin. By using our Billet Knob, you can pull out the lock pin and lock it out, and it will stay locked out until you rotate it, then it will lock in. This Billet knob makes using your Cannon® Downriggers a much easier process. It’s very easy to install, just unscrew the plastic T-Knob and replace it with ours. We do recommend you put a dab of Loctite on the threads. Designed to Upgrade all cannon Low Profile Swivel Bases.
