Warranty

DC GOLD AUDIO warrants to the original customer this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years, measured from the sales date of the speaker to the return date. DC GOLD AUDIO will, at its discretion, repair any defective speaker that falls within the valid warranty period. All repairs only apply to manufacturer defects and not speakers that have not been damaged as described below.

This warranty does not apply to any DC GOLD speaker damaged by:

Overpowering / Overloading the driver – Frying the voice-coil by sending too much power to the speakers (ie: playing too loud too long)
Accidents – Any type of collision, mishap with the installation, dropping, poking, etc.
Misuse or abuse - Any type of physical abuse that is not typical of normal wear and tear
Improper Installation - Including, but not limited to, improper wiring, mounting, line voltage, etc.
Fire, lightening, or “acts of GOD”
Any damage caused by parts furnished by anyone other than DC GOLD AUDIO

Receipts are necessary for all warranty work, so please file them appropriately. This warranty is only valid for the original customer and cannot be transferred. DC GOLD speakers are not meant to have direct saltwater contact on the backside – please mount appropriately. DC GOLD supplied gaskets or very small bead of calking is approved. Over-calking voids warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you. This is the complete warranty by DC GOLD AUDIO, and no other expressed warranty is valid. This warranty is valid for these pair of speakers only. This warranty may be updated at any time.

There is a required maintenance (for salt water applications) to extend the life and sound of the speakers; At least once a year, remove from enclosure and submerge entire speaker in clear, clean water to remove salt residue. This only requires a minute or two, but will help protect your speakers and ability to receive a warranty repair.
