Tatula TW80™ 6.5 oz. 8.1:1 Left Hand Baitcast Reel by Daiwa®. Built around a rigid all aluminum 80-sized frame and sideplate, the Tatula TW80 offers the compact size of a finesse baitcaster with versatility similar to its 100-sized counterpart. A familiar feature to the Tatula family, Daiwa's signature T-Wing System reduces the constriction of line flow caused by traditional line guide/level wind systems by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider, and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle and minimal friction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts. This feature, coupled with the esteemed Magforce magnetic braking system and a super light 32mm 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum spool allow for trouble free casting across a wide range of techniques and lure types. New to the list of features is Daiwa's Hyper Drive Design gearing system for the ultimate smooth cranking and fluid-like rotation. The Hyper Drive Design concept takes a four-pronged approach that includes redesigned gearing for a smoother and more efficient transfer of power, along with enhanced support features to resist torque and preserve internal alignment.
