The new TM165HW features a high-frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz and a super-wide beamwidth, averaging 30°, providing maximum coverage across the frequency band. In addition to improving the performance of Chirp-capable fishfinders, anglers using this new wide-beam transducer will achieve three-times the coverage compared to standard high-frequency Chirp-ready transducers. Wide beamwidth, together with the high-frequency range, provides vast bottom coverage and precise fish detection in the upper-water column that can sometimes go unseen with narrow-beam transducers. Airmar’s new wide-beam format also creates crisper and larger return images on the display.

Warranty

Airmar Technology Corporation warrants that all of its sensor products conform to specifications published in Airmar product literature. It also warrants that the tolerance on impedance at best transmit frequency shall be -20%, +40% of the nominal value and transducer transmit and receive voltage responses each shall be no more than 3dB down from the nominal values published in Airmar product literature. This warranty is subject to the limitations listed below. Airmar will repair or exchange any sensor proven to be defective by Airmar under normal use at no charge for a period of two years from date of shipment except as provided below.

Warranty Limitation

If Airmar Technology Corporation has issued electrical and mechanical design specifications pertaining to a particular product, then those specifications are the sole basis for product acceptability. Components supplied to Airmar by the buyer for incorporation into Airmar products are not warranted by Airmar.

The Airmar Technology Corporation warranty does not apply to sensors which have been subjected to: impact; vessel grounding; abuse; pinched, cut or abraded cables; contact with strong solvents, misuse.

Airmar Technology Corporation assumes no responsibility for damage incurred during installation. Costs associated with sensor replacement (auto mileage, customs duties, boat hauling, and reinstallation labor) are specifically excluded from this warranty.

Snap-in paddlewheel carriers, paddlewheels, paddlewheel bearings and paddlewheel shafts are consumable items, and are specifically excluded from this warranty.

The Airmar Technology Corporation warranty does not apply to any sensor if the connector has, at any time, been removed or when the cable has been spliced or if date code or part number markings on the connector end of the cable have been removed, altered or rendered illegible.

This warranty is strictly limited to the terms indicated herein, and no other express or implied warranties or remedies thereunder shall be binding on AirmarTechnology Corporation.

The warranties by Airmar Technology Corporation are limited to the express warranties stated herein and for the stated time periods, there are no implied warranties of merchantability or warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

Airmar Technology Corporation shall not be liable for consequential damages under any express or implied warranties relating to this equipment.
