Boat Propellers

Propellers

Although a boat propeller and its operating principle may seem quite simple, there are plenty of factors to consider when this part is designed or chosen for a given vessel. In a nutshell, all propellers can be classified by their material, size, and design. Most smaller boats come equipped with aluminum propellers which are relatively inexpensive yet strong and durable enough. However, their performance can be insufficient for a larger or more powerful vessel, and a stainless steel prop can be a better option in such cases.

Other variants include the most expensive, bronze models and another interesting alternative whose popularity constantly grows – Nibral propellers (short for an alloy consisting of nickel, bronze, and aluminum). As for the design, you can experiment with a different number of blades, pitch, and some other parameters, under the condition that a new prop has the same number of teeth and other mounting characteristics. For instance, if you have a medium-sized boat and use it in the ocean, you can find a four-blade prop more effective than a three-blade one. In our collection of boat propellers, you will be able to select from high-quality models sourced from reputable brands and offering reliable performance and lasting lifespan.
