All the products are divided into several series. Vertical (RC line) and horizontal (HRC) windlasses are meant for the automatic handling of a rope/chain combination rode, while the traditional VW and VWC models were designed for chains only (except for the VW10). As for the VWC lineup, it includes standard and low-profile versions; the former can be equipped with an optional band brake.
